Description
- KetoVie Peptide is specially designed for these situations: Those who need dietary management of intractable epilepsy and who are also experiencing: impaired gastrointestinal function; intolerance to intact proteins; need for tube feeding; and critical care patients
- Contains 14% of calories as MCT (medium chain triglycerides) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid)
- Ketogenic ratio: 4:1 ratio (fat grams: net carbohydrates (total carbohydrates – total fiber) + protein)
- 100% enzymatically hydrolyzed whey protein
- 14% of calories are from medium chain triglycerides (6 grams of MCT per serving) to promote stronger ketosis
- 1.5 calories per mL to meet nutritional needs in lower volume
- Contains 2.6 grams fiber (soluble fiber to support digestion and calcium absorption)
- Enzymatically hydrolyzed whey with 8.1 g protein: small peptides (77% ≤ 1,250 Daltons) for patients with impaired GI function or intolerance to intact proteins.
- 150 mg carnitine to transport fat in the cell
- 140 mg docosahexaenoic acid: DHA is important for brain and eye development
